This is for you kiddies who think they can fly in BC2, but can't. This is for all you "im in the air for 40second" nubs. You are a chopper nub if you gain altitude under fire.
Use cover, your surrounding, hillsides, craters, pretty much anything which hides you. You don't out fly AA you get shot down. So when AA is shooting, go behind something. Your chopper hovers, it doesn't just fly straight, its incredibly agile.

No you don't need a joystick. Understanding your bubble and knowing where you are regardless of where you are pointed. POV hat is awesome for re-spotting targets for a quicker re-engagement. I have been playing with Shiva on ten different Atacama Only servers, for weeks. And there hasn't been a single pilot we have last more than a couple minutes. Or they do just by shear luck or non existent enemy team.
No one knows how to fly choppers in BC2 under the crazy ground situation that exist on Atacama. They simply get shot down before they have a chance todo anything useful. Killing one tank when there can be four enemy tanks re-spawning all the time.
Playing chopper pilot in BC2 Atacama is personal, up close and dirty. And Cao im not average, i am stellar. You have never been in a chopper with a real pilot, so ill give you some wiggle room.
